One brand, several substrates
Uncoated paper, coated board, clear film and metallic surfaces reflect light differently. A single artwork color value cannot describe every visual effect across these materials.
Choose a hierarchy of references
Identify the most important brand color, acceptable relationships between components and the viewing context. Share physical references where useful and confirm the print route for each product.
Account for the structure
Folds, seals, embossing and coatings change the way a design is seen. Place logos and slogans where they remain readable after forming, filling and handling rather than only on a flat layout.
Approve a coordinated set
Review representative samples together under agreed conditions. Record each material and artwork version. Coordination means managing the relationships within the range, not claiming every printed surface will be physically identical.
